PocketFMS App accesses aeronautical data provided by an existing PocketFMS licence.
With PocketFMS App you can take your phone or tablet with you in the cockpit and follow your route on a moving map, always confident of your position and the airspace around you.
PocketFMS is a complete Flight Management System for VFR pilots, designed by pilots for pilots, that makes flight planning and navigation easy.
PocketFMS has been providing flight planning and moving map systems since 2003. Our AeroData is professionally maintained to the highest standards, with two hourly updates, including all AIP updates. Our data is recognised as being of the highest standards, and is used in leading panel mounted avionics.
This release should be considered beta since weekly new features are added. Up to now the following is implemented:
- Full PocketFMS Airspace Data support
- unique 3D View (Synthetic Vision) for Europe, Australia and USA (Canada coming soon).
- Relative Terrain for both 2D and 3D view.
- Full PocketFMS AeroData support including VFR Reportingpoints, obstacles, places etc.
- Full flightplanning; we think we designed the most easy and fast way to create multi-leg flightplans by simply tap&hold on a location on the map, let us know what you think of it!
- Quick and easy Direct To
- PocketFMS'famous Weather depiction System using Graphical Metar & Taf depiction and European Advanced WX depiction of cloudbase forecast, W/V at different altitudes and SigWX like Rain, fog, thunder.
