With StrikeZone installed on your Android device, gone are the days of charting pitches on paper. Baseball players of all levels can benefit from using statistics to review the pitches they've thrown.

Instead of recording the location of each pitch with pen and paper, a baseball player can input the same information more easily and efficiently into an Android device.

Simply enter the velocity (if you would like), touch the screen where the baseball was thrown, and select the type of pitch that was thrown. After confirming these - the pitch velocity, location, and type - the data will be stored for later review. The whole process takes only a few seconds, leaving plenty of time between pitches.

Don't have a radar gun, but still want the pitch velocity? Worry not, because StrikeZone has a Speed Timer fully integrated so you can quickly gauge the velocity of the ball, using only your phone or tablet.

Speed Timer calculates the pitch speed based on the distance between the mound and home plate and how long the ball took to travel that distance. While this isn't quite as accurate as a real radar gun, it's definitely useful for those who don't have one handy. The distance is fully customizable.

The History tab allows you to look over highly customizable, yet easily understandable, statistics. Look at one day's pitches, or select multiple days to compile them all together!
